My subscription ran out the other day, and for the first time ever I don't think I'll renew it. The shine has worn off this site for me sooo badly. I never was a massive one for the community side of things here, I would just spend hours rummaging through all the artwork and wouldn't really get involved with the artists themselves. But that was mostly through laziness than anything else. Now I actually don't like the community much, and thats the reason for my lack of participation. The forums infuriate me, the today page annoys me, and I've been avoiding the chat rooms like the plague for the last year at least. I see Deviantart more now as big, ever changing artbook for me to browse through any time I need inspiration, and I don't really need a subscription to do that. I just wish there was a filter button to get rid of the loads of absolute shite that distracts from the actual good stuff on here.
